Cemetery Hours – Sunrise to Sunset. Sunset to Sunrise will be considered trespassing.
All potted containers, artificial plants and flowers must be removed by Labor Day or the sexton will have them removed and disposed of.
Vehicles on paved or gravel roads only.
Cemetery trespassers will be held responsible for any theft or damage to cemetery property.
Snowmobiles, ORV’s, dogs, horses are prohibited on cemetery grounds.
Trees, shrubs, and bushes will be trimmed back as deemed necessary by the township. Any removal of trees shall only be done with the prior approval of the township board.
The township and or its employees shall not be responsible for errors in location of the graves on lots due to improper instructions by the lot owners or their agents.
All flat grave monuments shall be installed at ground level to assure that the cemetery grounds can be properly maintained.
Any plot improvement must be compatible with the surrounding plot. No planting of trees, shrubs may be planted with prior approval. Contact sexton for approval prior to any improvements.
No disposal of flowers on cemetery or surrounding grounds.
Mausoleums must be located in approved area(s), adjacent to existing road(s).
Installation of headstones, markers, monuments, must have approval of the cemetery sexton prior to installation.
Absolutely no burials and/or interments without a burial permit and prior approval by the township clerk or sexton.
Burial rights are extended only to the original purchaser on the deed. Lots/plots may not be resold except you may sell them back to the township for the original purchase price. Contact the township clerk for more details.
