Felch Township has partnered with Andersons Nordic Grocery in Felch Mountain to provide rental of Disc’s to play the Disc golf course. The cost is $3.00 per day and includes 3 discs and a bag. The bag contains one driver, one mid-range and one putter disc. If you lose a disc you are responsible to pay to replace the disc. The current replacement cost is $7.00 per disc. If you fail to return the set you will be invoiced $35.00. There is no charge to play disc golf.  However, if you wish to rent discs a rental fee is charged for the disc rental.

Norway Lake Park

Norway Lake Park has 20 campsites with electricity. It is a first come first serve basis.  Registration is on-site.  There is a pump house to carry water but no water or septic hookups.  There is a small play area, sandboxes, a kickball/wiffle ball field, a beach, and pavilion.  Under construction planned summer of 2025 projected completion of an outdoor sand volleyball court, a pickle ball court, basketball and badminton court.  Fuel powered motorized watercraft are not permitted on Norway Lake.

Felch Community Center Recreation

A modern playground, pavilion, two baseball fields a batting practice cage and 10-lane horseshoe court are all located on the grounds at the Felch Township Community Center.

Other Recreation

Gene’s Pond State Campground is near the Norway Lake Campground and boat launch just north and then down the Leeman Road about 1.5 miles.

Six Mile Lake has a state boat launch, parking and a privy. It is located is down towards the end of the Six Mile Lake Road approx. 5 miles west of Felch on M69. There is no public beach for swimming.

Solberg Lake is west of Felch off of M69 approx. 8 miles. There is no boat launch ramp. The lake is best accessed with a canoe or small pram. At a boat launch landing. There is no camping or swimming area.

Groveland Mine Ponds are west of Felch off of the Groveland Mine Road.  The ponds are surrounded by State land.  With State provided boat launches and privys.  There are no swimming beaches. Camping is permitted in areas at no charge however a state camping permit is required and can be obtained from the Michigan DNR.
