Waste Transfer Station

The Waste Transfer Station is for the use of Felch Township Residents only with the exception of recyclable metals or compost area. We reserve the discretion to limit quantities to the site attendant. We encourage recycling whenever possible. It reduces your cost and it’s good for the environment. The large household dumpster is provided twice a year. In the spring usually the first week in May and in the Fall usually the last week in September. Check with the attendant for dates. Building materials, hazardous waste, refrigeration equipment and electronics for example are never accepted. Automotive – Lead Acid Batteries are accepted the attendant will direct you where to place the batteries for recycling. Felch residents and accepts only residential household garbage. Household garbage placed in dumpsters must be in a closed / tied garbage bag. Loose garbage is not permitted. All cardboard boxes must be broken down and flat, so they don’t take up extra room with empty boxes. …

  1. All garbage placed in dumpster must be in bags tied shut
  2. No loose garbage dumped in dumpsters
  3. All cardboard must be broken down
  4. No hazardous waste
  5. No large plastic items, must fit in bag
  6. No construction materials
  7. No yard waste (leaves, grass, etc…)
  8. We can and will limit the quantity or bags disposed each time
  9. If you have any questions ask attendant
